Teenage inspiration : Cloning a Celebrity

"Oh mommy! I want new converse! Please mom, can I have them?" - "You just bought a new pair of shoes a week ago! Once you use them, you'll get new ones." - "Oh mom! they are old news now! Selena Gomez was wearing converse and even I want them!" This is an average conversation between a mom and her teenage son/daughter that takes place everyday.

Most of the influence comes from teenage celebrities. I, personally being a follower of Justin Bieber,
Cody Simpson, Greyson Chance, Cole and
Dylan Sprouse, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Taylor Lautner and many more take care that this influence does not go to my head. Most of my friends would buy new stuff as it is trending and well....to gain popularity.

Becoming a trend setter for something constructive is good but for something that comes and goes and has no additional value for us is negative. In turn, trying to stay in-fashion results in loss of resources like money that can be used for better and more important purposes.

In this chase to popularity kids tend to forget that these celebrities are working hard on their share. They work for hours and hours a day, study with private tutors, roam around in the world without their family in an effort to achieve something in life. They experience life and earn by their efforts.

Rather than learning the latest fashion trends from these celebrities, we should get inspired by their efforts. At a tender age of thirteen, singers like Justin Bieber and Cody Simpson started
utilising their talent and making their friends and families proud.

It is time to get inspired and take in all the good, just as Mahatma Gandhi has said >> Take in all the good and leave the bad behind <<

I would like to conclude by saying get inspired from everyone in life because you can get inspiration from every small deed of a person....respect others, follow them but don't end being a clone and losing your own personality and charm.
