Chess......a way to look at life!

Chessmaster 10th edition
While talking to one another during summer vacations, my friend told me a few interesting things about chess. So, the game I never used to enjoy started becoming interesting day after day. The day our vacations were over I went and borrowed the ‘chessmaster’ CD from my friend, and I am glad I did.

Apart from teaching us the basic techniques of chess, it also shows how similar our life is to the chess board. If we are the king then all the pieces on the board are our saviours. Here, our saviours are our friends and family. They are there to support us in every position.
It taught me that it's very easy to get caught up in the meaningless confusions, of chess or of life. The key is not to run away, but to know where to look.

“When confronted by a tactical position, we should always look for force and continuations, for example checks and captures.” This is a line from The Chessmate academy. So, where it is teaching us how to capture the king of the opponent, we can see it as a way of facing our life. Never  by running away. Keeping faith and strength, and looking in a right and a different direction! J

The scene is from 'Harry Potter and
The Chamber of secrets'  where
Harry, Ron and Hermione have to become
chess pieces to save their lives. This is
symbolic of saying that if Harry is
the king, he had to be saved by the help of Ron
 and Hermione's respective chess pieces.
